Going out of the way in 2011 to emphasize saying “Merry Christmas” and not so much “Happy Holidays” this year.

The 3rd annual “The Magic Of Christmas” includes phone calls from friends sharing what they will be doing this Christmas, and their favorite Christmas songs get played. Also new to the 3rd Christmas show, are sounds from around town as the local Christmas Walk takes place (a classic event in the LaGrange Illinois area every year).

Santa has a special gift for a lady in the crowd as her boyfriend proposes to her during the Christmas walk. Spontaneous caroling breaks out at "Palmer Place," and so much more on a full packed Magic Of Christmas kick-off show!

Taking a break from the pop culture aspect of the show this week, and turned toward the community aspect.

Guest Steve Palmer of Palmer Place in La Grange Illinois talks about the history of his establishment he shares with his brother. Also Steve discusses how they just had their place named as first place in peoples choice awards for best burger in all of Chicago.

I ask Steve about the "Brew Moon beer and band festival" this weekend being held at "The Max." in Mc. Cook Illinois. There will be bands throughout the day and evening. Oh and yes, of course beer sampling during this time. Check out http://wwww.brewmoonfest.com for further info.

Guest include Ed Ansner and Ryan Katzenbach. We discuss the new documentary they both have been working on titled, "Shattered Hopes." This new documentary on Amityville is coming out later this year and I give my review of part one.

We hear music from the movie opener and other scenes. Ryan talks about the specific time of the release, and how it will be released. Him and I also discuss some possible special features that will be available on the DVD.
